Advent calendar from Grapat. This Advent set consists of 24 beautifully illustrated boxes and an accompanying booklet. Each box contains a unique surprise, an invitation to play and create new rituals for each day of Advent. This year, Grapat collaborated with a number of creatives to create a booklet full of ideas, traditions and inspiration to guide you through this wonderful time of year.
This is the Dutch version of Grapat's second limited edition the advent calendar, produced exclusively in 2023.
Grapat makes toys from PEFC-certified wood from sustainable forest management. You get it without instructions. Pure open ended play. It promotes free and autonomous play. Their sole premise is to let children play, slowly, without time limits. They present materials that encourage, invite and stimulate the creation of various fantastic, realistic and imagined little worlds. Their toys are made using traditional processes, from quality, sustainable materials and finished with non-toxic water-based paints and waxes and oils of vegetable origin. The products are made in Europe, hand-painted, surrounded by land, fire and rivers.
